New! Flaska I Feel Slovenia

Flaska I Feel SloveniaSlovenia is a land of extensive forests, pure waters and abundant tradition. This small country offers its visitors a varied palette of adventures and experiences. Slovenia is also the home of the Flaska.

Both Slovenia and Flaska are small, full of variety, and offer more than meets the eye. The positive feedback of the foreign tourists in Slovenia can effectively be compared to the enthusiasm generated by Flaska users. Also common are our values – particularly our sustainable attitude towards the environment.

Flaska I Feel Slovenia will serve as a useful and practical memento of Slovenia.

Designed by Nina Berlič

Flaska I Feel Slovenia is available in our web shop.

The collection Flaska I Feel Slovenia consists of three stylised symbols of Slovenia:

Flaska I Feel Slovenia Martin Krpan

Flaska Martin Krpan

Martin Krpan is a literary hero derived from folk tradition. While smuggling salt, Martin Krpan ran into a carriage with the Emperor of Vienna, then lifted his heavily-burdened mare and moved her to the side of the road. The emperor noted his colossal strength and called for Martin Krpan when the city of Vienna came under attack by the mighty Brdavs. Krpan defeated Brdavs to free the imperial town.

 Flaska I Feel Slovenia Proteus

Flaska Proteus

The proteus inhabits the waters of the Karst underworld in Slovenia. It is an amphibian with underdeveloped eyes. Its skin lacks pigmentation, giving it a human-like hue, which is also the reason behind the animal’s popular name, the ‘human fish’. The proteus is the jewel of the Karst fauna, and is a peculiarity of the Postojna Cave.

 Flaska I Feel Slovenia Kurent

Flaska Kurent

Kurent, a character associated with Carnival, is traditionally believed to drive away winter and evil spirits, and to invite spring through loud frolicking. Due to its somewhat scary appearance, the Kurent has become the symbol of the Slovene Carnival. It is characteristic for Northeast Slovenia, particularly the town of Ptuj.
